It’s been another productive year for The Future Fox team, with the launch of our AI consultation analysis feature (more on that later), alongside working on some fantastic engagements with local authority partners from Struan, on the Isle of Skye, to Teignbridge on the south-west coast.
We topped the year off with award nods from the likes of Geovation, UKREiiF, the RTPI and UK Proptech, meaning we can now rightly refer to ourselves as the multi-award-winning Future Fox!

The Future Fox: Award-winning planning pioneers!
Last month, The Future Fox was in the running for two prestigious awards. At the RTPI we were shortlisted for the Excellence in Digital Planning Practice award, and honoured to receive a commendation from the judges, who noted:
“Judges commended this project for its innovative use of technology to engage hard-to-reach people and reduce misinformation in planning.”
This acknowledgement stands as a testament to our commitment to inclusive engagement and superior results for better decision-making.
Additionally, we are delighted to announce that our founder and CEO, Annette, has been awarded the UK Proptech 'Inspirational Leader of the Year'. This recognises both her leadership qualities and the impact of our work at The Future Fox.
Introducing our new AI consultation analysis service
The Future Fox is delighted to introduce our new AI Consultation Analysis service. Powered by state-of-the-art AI, the service helps tackle the often laborious process of manually processing lengthy consultation comments by automatically coding and summarising them, accurately. This not only saves officers potentially weeks of time but also minimises errors and enhances understanding of community feedback.
Employing The Future Fox’s proprietary AI, this pioneering service ensures GDPR compliance and the responsible use of AI, focussing on saving time and money, whilst keeping ‘human in the loop’ quality control. It’s available as part of the PlaceBuilder platform or separately as a service.
