About Us
We're on a mission to accelerate the development of smart, sustainable and people focused places.
Designed in collaboration with planners, our consultation software saves time, reduce costs, and delivers a positive return on investment by streamlining consultation processes and uncovering actionable community insights that lead to better decisions.

We are proud to have worked on some of the most ambitious and innovative digital engagement projects in our sector. We’ve run consultations across the UK, with councils like Epsom & Ewell and Teignbridge District Council, MHCLG and Scottish Government, major developers and urban extensions like Hanwood Park, helping them reach local stakeholders to millions of residents and analyse thousands of comments with ease. Our cutting-edge tools have consistently delivered faster turnaround times, inclusivity, and measurable ROI for our clients.
The Future Fox is an independent, UK-owned company founded in 2017. Our founder and CEO, Annette Jezierska, is passionate about data-driven decision making and is a member of MHCLG’s Digital Planning Steering Board, providing advice on the adoption of AI in the planning system.

Our Story
Today, people feel locked out of planning decisions. Even if they engage in a planning consultation, they typically feel there was no point; they don’t feel heard.
On the other hand, planners and decision makers tasked with taking forward homes and infrastructure, feel frustrated that they can’t.
There are two sides to every story!
This scales to a cavernous gap in trust, and large losses in time, budget and progress towards critical goals like meeting our housing needs, or rolling out infrastructure to achieve net zero.
The Future Fox’s founder and CEO, Annette, saw the opportunity to fix this disconnect, close the feedback loop, and accelerate progress. In 2019, The Future Fox launched its first project on the PlaceBuilder platform, helping Lewisham understand the community highly controversial low traffic neighbourhood measures, and have grown to engage communities and planners across the UK.
