2025 has been a landmark year for ConsultAI. From passing the toughest regulatory scrutiny in UK planning to saving councils years of officer time, our AI-powered consultation analysis tool has moved firmly from experimental to operational.

5 Years of Officer Time Saved

Helping teams save over 96% of their time in analysing large volumes of feedback across statutory consultations in planning, transport, and strategy has been a significant achievement. This includes Regulation 18, 19, 22, and Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs).

Proven under scrutiny

ConsultAI supported the first AI-assisted Regulation 19 Local Plan in the UK to be deemed Sound following Examination in 2025. We worked closely with Winchester City Council. This is a critical validation point. It demonstrates that ConsultAI outputs can withstand the rigorous legal and procedural scrutiny of the planning examination process.

Automation for Messy, Real-World Data

Public consultation data is rarely clean. In 2025, we processed everything from complex 500+ question surveys to documents, emails, and handwritten letters. This included identifying the precise policy modifications required for legal compliance. Our system handles the messiness so planning officers don’t have to.

Operational, Not Experimental

ConsultAI is now used as self-service software on high-risk statutory consultations. This covers Regulation 18, Regulation 19, Regulation 22, TROs, and strategic consultations across planning, transport, and strategy. Councils are running it independently at scale. This marks a major step from the pilot-stage projects that defined the earlier years.
