The Future Fox has embarked on an exciting research project with SmartLighting to determine how UK citizens feel about introducing AI technology to improve street lighting in their neighbourhoods.
Sensor-embedded street lights could have the potential to improve communities by reducing light pollution, improving energy efficiency and even increase public safety. These sensors utilise AI technology to differentiate a person from a car, or even a fox to trigger lights that automatically illuminate the area for pedestrians.
We are uncovering what the biggest lighting concerns in neighbourhoods across the UK to inform the development stage of this exciting new technology.
